Framer

A design-led platform that turns visual layouts into hosted websites with CMS and collaboration features. This Top Rated Sites profile uses the company's published information and a dated external-evidence snapshot; it is not a customer testimonial.

What Framer provides

The Framer official website lists Visual website design, Website hosting, CMS, Localisation, Analytics, Collaboration and Prototyping. Its hosted platform combines several website functions, making workflow fit and long-term portability important parts of the comparison. Features, prices and availability can change, so the current proposal or plan terms should take priority over this summary.

Site-quality perspective

For Top Rated Sites, the useful question is how Framer fits readers examining observable website quality, service evidence and the gap between a polished presentation and day-to-day delivery. A long service list does not establish suitability by itself. Record what can be verified on live work, then separate those observations from ratings, marketing claims and personal design preference.

External review context

At the 29 October 2026 snapshot, G2 displayed 4.5 out of 5 from 146 reviews. The sample is still a collection of individual experiences rather than a guarantee. Check recent reviews, responses and the particular service being discussed before applying the score to your own requirements.

Strengths worth exploring

• Design-first workflow enables rapid creation of highly visual marketing sites
• Strong product-review rating at the snapshot date

Points to verify

• Smaller review sample means the average needs more context
• Check CMS scale, export expectations and bespoke application needs
